Addiction Treatment Admissions
Last Door offers addiction recovery services for Youth and Adult Males that includes Private Medical Detox, Intro to Recovery Programs, Longer Term Youth Addiction Treatment Program and Adult Addiction Treatment Program Treatment stays and Family Focus Addiction Treatment Services. Average stay typically is between three to five months, and many residents also access Last Door’s long term transitional living program which can be up to one 1 year.
Prospective clients may struggle with the idea of taking 90 days out of their life to participate in addiction treatment. For those individuals Last Door offers a 10 day Intro to Recovery Program. Participants are introduced to recovery on a short term basis that sometimes helps them make a better decisions about their future treatment plans.

Intake Process
Last Door’s intake phone is answered 7 days a week, 7 am to 11 pm. We can often provide rapid (within 24 hours) intakes for your convenience and, at times, instant help.

Potential clients should call our consultation line for a telephone screening. During this call clients’ needs and goals are discussed along with Last Door’s treatment options. Upon completion of their initial screening, clients will receive further instructions pertaining to an intake date.
Intervention services can be provided for employers or family members. Intervention and/or recovery coaching can help contemplative clients assess their needs. We also offer site visits for clients and family members to tour and assess facilities before making commitments.
Fee Structure
- 5 day Private Medical Detox $500 per day
- 10 Day Intro To Recovery $500 per day
- Adult Program $350 per day
- Youth Program $325 per day
- Transitional Living – flexible rates
- Continuing Care – Included in Treatment
- Family Program – Included in treatment fees
Fees include Family Program, food, room and board, 27 hours a week of group and individual counselling, case management with family and health care team, physician assessment, medication management, treatment planning, social and recreational activities, post treatment planning, and life time access to alumni group.
Fees are structured on a Per Diem basis and invoiced monthly in advance.
Third-party Financing available through Medicard
**Treatment fees can be covered by your employer, First Nations Community, private insurance, workplace benefits provider, family, or self.
**Fraser Health may also provide funding to those who qualify.
Referral Process
Last Door welcomes inquires via telephone or email regarding suitability and availability of services. Please click on the free consultation button at the top of the screen to submit an online form.
For health care referrals, a Last Door Referral Package can be completed and faxed or emailed to intake@lastdoor.org. As part of the screening/intake process Last Door can schedule up to a full day of program viewing for applicants and their referral agents.

Client Profile
- Youth Program – 14 to 18 years of age
- Adult Program – 19 and older who are experiencing addiction related issues
- Clients must be physically, mentally and emotionally able to participate in all components of an intensive recovery program and a group living environment
- Must be open to participate in an abstinence based program
- Last Door works with clients with mental health and co occurring issues
FAQ
What about laundry service? Complimentary laundry facilities provided
What about my medication? Prescription medications must be processed by Last Door’s Pharmacy, outside medications are not permitted. Over the counter vitamins or supplements may be used with supervision and approval but are not permitted from outside sources.
Do I need spending money? Clients do need money for extracurricular activities such as movie tickets and other recreational activities. Clients are allowed a set allowance determined by their counselor
Can I have visitors? Yes, families and non-family members are encouraged to visit, however all visitors must be pre-approved by the client’s case worker. Last Door’s Social Model Program supports a client’s social network to participate in the recovery journey

The atmosphere of our programs, coupled with clients’ desire for alcohol rehab, drug treatment or substance abuse recovery lays the groundwork for them to develop "and own" their recovery. Addiction Treatment Program
Treatment is viewed as a starting point to a healthier, recovery-based life, free from the impacts of active addiction. Primary Care Facilities are located in uptown New Westminster, BC. Clients get immersed into a vibrant recovery community, and learn through experiential learning on how to rebuild their life. Clients also have access to a beautiful retreat property in a rural area.
Youth Addiction Treatment Program
Experience-based education and learning challenges youth to develop healthy values, attitudes, beliefs and behaviors. The ultimate goal is increased self esteem and improved decision making to support a healthier, recovery-based life, free from the impacts of active addiction. Our clinical teams assist clients to navigate help for mental health challenges, education and job readiness skills.
