Communities that work together are healthy communities. When considering recovery from substance use disorder, it is important to make connections, not just with your physician or counsellor, but with the community at large, most find solutions in our dynamic 12 Step community, others in SMART recovery or CBT therapy. There are many pathways to recovery, the most important pathway is to try all of them, and continue trying, you are worth it.
New West Recovery is a collective of providers with a goal of improving the lives and outcomes of individuals and families affected by addiction related issues. Individuals who participate in Last Door’s addiction treatment program participate in therapy and medically led treatment, but are also connected to high-quality addiction and mental health services in the New Westminster community so clients can practice seeking help.
