Still Mind Therapy

Mindfulness is the art of paying attention in a particular way: the present moment, on purpose, and non-judgmentally. As we learn to do this in a systematic fashion, we are able to develop an increased understanding and ability to respond in positive ways to our lives. The 8-week program includes developing moment-by-moment awareness using breath and daily life activities; learning cognitive techniques to respond to thoughts; and cultivating attitudes of patience, openness, acceptance, trust, gentleness, letting go and beginning again.
