Other measures that are being taken at Last Door:

These measures are applied with the utmost consideration of a potential facility quarantine should a member contract COVID-19. Our goal is to ensure that those seeking assistance from Last Door can still access our much-needed services.

To ensure decreased risk to clients and staff we are applying the principle of ‘least restrictive means’ in enacting social distancing measures. We are requesting any individuals who are asking to be approved to visit Last Door that are returning from travel outside of Canada avoid asking to socialize/visit any of our facilities for 14 days after your return to Canada.

Ensuring the health and safety of our clients, families, staff, volunteers and business partners is our top priority right now.

We are tracking postings from the Provincial and Federal Government and the World Health Organization. Fraser Health Authority: Community Care Licensing has provided directives to best protect our residents and staff against COVID-19 including:

• cleaning,

• testing,

• isolation and outbreak protocols,

• staffing measures and infection control, and

• supplies and visitor protocols.

We must all work together to support recommendations from Senior Health officials to reduce the severity of this current situation.
