Addiction Recovery Goes Online During Pandemic

With over 2,000,000 weekly 12 Step meetings with thousands of them taking place in community centres and church basements across the country every day, what does the recovery community do during lockdown?

Never before seen, thousands of volunteers and their home groups have taken to technology to create a safe space for people to recover.

People are suggested to attend 12 meetings weekly so they can maintain a connection to people and to give back.  Today people are being asked not to go to meetings, instead, log on and connect virtually.
