Spiritual Counsellor:

Ralph has been offering spiritual counselling, both virtually and in-person, in both one-on-one and group settings for many years. As an ordained Spiritual Counselor/Director, he creates a safe space to explore issues such as aging (specializing in turning Aging into Sageing), grief and loss, life transitions, and finding or renewing meaning and purpose. His approach is not religiously based but one that focuses on our relationship to ourselves, to each other and to the greater forces at play in your life, however you define them. Ralph is always looking to renew and ignite a soul-centered learning for fellow travelers on this brief, miraculous journey that is our gift: our lives.

Ralph’s Book

Spiritual Memoir I thought I was Dead“I Thought He Was Dead: A Spiritual Memoir”

When Ralph Benmergui discovered he was literally hours away from a deadly heart attack, he realized everything had changed.

He was entering the autumn of his life.

What follows this awakening is a funny, profound and generous look at where he has come from – from his childhood as the youngest son of Moroccan immigrants, to his experiences during the early years as a stand-up comedian at YukYuks, his storied career at the CBC and his work in Aging to Sageing- to where he has arrived.
