Dr. Hardt is a celebrated research scientist with an established history of over 40 years in the study and research of biofeedback. Hardt has authored or co-authored countless scientific research papers on the subject and he currently has more than 30 patents for the core technology, headset, training methodology and brain-centered portion of various virtual reality applications.
His findings have been published in numerous scholarly journals such as Science, Psychophysiology, and the Journal of Experimental Psychology, just to name a few. Dr. Hardt has also spoken in front of the United Nations. Dr. Hardt received a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Carnegie Institute of Technology, as well as a master’s degree, and Ph.D., in psychology from Carnegie-Mellon University.
The Art of Smart Thinking
Regarding the book “The Art of Smart Thinking”: The contents of the book are an elaboration of the website and much much more. The book is a discussion of how Dr. Hardt came to create his masterwork, which is the Biocybernaut Training. Dr. Hardt invented not only the training protocol, but also the technology that is used to support the training. His creation is based on many years of research and life experience. He has explored brainwaves of thousands of people and has come to learn how different brain wave patterns indicate personality traits. His book is the story behind his work. He discusses the science as well as the personal stories to demonstrate the “why” behind what he does and to elucidate how his training affects people in profound ways. If you found the website interesting and if you are interested in how a person fulfills their dreams you will most likely enjoy reading Dr. Hardt’s book. Also, anyone who is seeking to understand more about brain waves and/or peak performance (and other states of consciousness) will get value out of this book. His perspective is very unique because, unlike many other conventional Western scientists, Dr. Hardt is open to exploring the value of altered states and has accepted a worldly view of consciousness. He is not limited to the Western definition of “conscious” (meaning “awake”) nor is he satisfied to understand merely the basics. His explorations go beyond the traditional and delve into unconventional brain wave patterns- where he is a global authority- to discover the merits and characteristics of brain wave patterns that are associated with meditation, spiritual experiences, specific behaviors, optimal performance, selflessness, forgiveness, and many more human experiences that were previously never touched by the scientific world. Brain waves are always present when humans are alive- they are as essential as breathing- but they have been neglected by science for a long time because technology could not previously make them accessible for advanced research purposes. Dr. Hardt developed a filtration system that can unlock their mystery by isolating the brain waves that are emitted by people. He has also developed software that uses the signals from the filters to record the intensity and magnitude of the brainwaves in numerical and visual data. His system is patented because it is unique and it is very advanced compared to what is available through other technologies. His book explains how he developed the system and how he has used the system to look into human emotions and experiences, common and uncommon, to understand how brain waves can help us to understand our own experience, aid us to grow spiritually and emotionally, and ultimately, how brain waves can be altered to optimize our experience of reality.
